    Spa Time in Tallahassee

While in Tallahassee I found a happening area known as Midtown—sated with fun boutiques, fab dining and a treasure trove of shops. Located in the Midtown Design Center are darling Lucy & Leo’s Cupcakery and Bali Hi with its beautiful painted bracelets.  Just two of my finds here. But on this particular afternoon my focus was on an appointment at Kanvas (kanvasbeauty.com), the spa of choice for guests of Tallahassee’s hip new Hotel Duval.

    Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week

Last Friday in Sarasota, I joined the town’s foodies at Libby’s and Derek’s Culinary Casual for Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week (savorsarasota.com). Through June 14, diners can pick and choose from 33 restaurants where multi-course meals are just $15 for lunch and $25 for dinner. This unbelievable deal is an opportunity for diners to get out and discover Sarasota’s culinary scene without breaking the bank.

    Chillin' in Delray Beach

Dotting the lawn were lounge-y outdoor furnishings—cozy orbs and fab couches—plus cocktail bars with everything from Cointreau to primo Russian vodka ...

    Seasoning the Steak

Football, steak and coach Don Shula are as American as apple pie. Since retiring from the game, Shula has built an empire around red meat. The latest addition is Shula’s 347 Grill.
