We had a blast at our very first Weekend of Discovery, held at the Jupiter Beach Resort (jupiterbeachresort.com). I really like the resort's rich traditional interior (think British Colonial/Tommy Bahama). This gem on the Atlantic coastline has a fabulous spa and Sinclairs, a wonderful gourmet dining spot. I'm spending the day watching rehearsals alongside him, a man considered an icon in the dance world (he recently was named a fellow at the Academy of Arts and Sciences and has earned a National Medal of the Arts). It's only a few days until opening night on Oct. 23rd, yet the strength and conviction of each dancer's movements makes it seem like they've been ready for months.
