If the old saying “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” is true, then chef Tim Creehan hasn’t worked since he was a teenager. (Lucky guy to find his life’s true passion before his 20th birthday.)
Somewhat of a local celebrity in Northwest Florida foodie circles, Creehan’s latest venture is Cuvee Bistro in Destin. “I decided to move out of fine dining and provide a product that the locals and my long-term customers could enjoy several times a week and not [once] a month,” he says.
It also meshes quite well with his core belief: “Find the best and freshest ingredients and prepare them simply! The quality will speak for itself.” Herbs from his on-site garden are handpicked fresh for dishes like the grouper Vince, pan roasted and served with a honey-Worcester- shire sauce.
One of his favorite recipes is the moo yang duck from his latest cookbook, Exceptional Taste, Tales and Recipes. cuveebistrodestin.com
