There’s just something special about Key West. Witness Tennessee Williams, the famed playwright who frequented the island (and in particular, South Beach) and said, “I work everywhere, but I work best here.” Of course, a stay at the Southernmost Hotel in the USA, just steps from Williams’ favorite beach, is anything but work, thanks to the friendly staff — which might be why the landmark hotel, which turns 65 this year, is a popular spot for so many Key West vacationers.

Is that the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in the trailer for the new movie Spring Breakers? Sure is. The movie was filmed in around St. Petersburg in 2012, often drawing crowds when locals spotted James Franco's co-stars Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens out on the town. But Spring Breakers isn't the first movie to shoot around Tampa Bay.
