Boca Bacchanal Winefest Weekend
Boca Bacchanal begins on Friday, March 23, with Vintner Dinners at some of Boca Raton’s most prestigious private homes. Highlights include chef Ken Vedrinski of Charleston’s Trattoria Lucca, who cooks Low Country Italian, and chef Pano Karatassos of Atlanta’s Kyma, who pairs his Greek food with Bodegas Slanetein’s Argentina wines.
Saturday, March 24, foodies move to the Boca Raton Resort & Club for the Bacchus Bash. The resort's executive chef Andrew Roenbeck, chef Carlos Guia of Wynn Las Vegas Resort and chef Ken Frank of Napa’s La Toque are among the chefs cooking. Wineries include Maison Joseph Drouhin, Burgundy France, and Masi Agricola, Veneto, Italy.
Sunday, March 25, some 30 local chefs serve bites of their favorite dishes from tents on the green at Mizner Park Amphitheatre. With 140 wines to sample, oenophiles score big at this afternoon event.
