It's Snooty's 64th at Bradenton’s South Florida Museum
I have to admit, I’m a Snooty fan. When you see him up close, it’s hard not to be. That's when you'll hear all about his storied life, starting with his early beginnings in 1948. You’ll also learn about the manatee rehab work that’s being done at the Parker Manatee Aquarium from a manatee wildlife specialist. All the while, Snooty chomps away on a healthy diet comprised of romaine, kale, carrots, fruit and more. These presentations happen daily.
But for now, it’s all about his birthday bash! Be a part of a free Wildlife Awareness Festival this Saturday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Spanish Plaza at Bradention’s South Florida Museum (also home to the Parker Manatee Aquarium and the Bishop Planetarium). If you can't make it, join in online. From 11:55 a.m. until 12:10 p.m., web users can visit http://www.livestream.com/southflmuseum to view the party as everyone wishes the fabulous fella a very happy birthday.
