What fun! The Great Lawn adjacent to Old School Square in Delray Beach was home to the “Chillounge Night” for one magical evening (Florida Travel + Life was a sponsor). Dotting the lawn were lounge-y outdoor furnishings—cozy orbs and fab couches—plus cocktail bars with everything from Cointreau to primo Russian vodka, plus a scattering of dining stations. Loved the tapas from Pineapple Grove’s new Taste Gastropub. Along with fireworks and samba dancers weaving through the crowd, the evening’s first-class entertainment was the soulful band—A.J. & the Automatics—with a swingin’ lead singer who had the crowd grooving with him onstage. A quick-paced fashion show wowed all. The Chillounge tour (chilloungenight.com) is happening around the state. Can’t wait for next year!
