What housing slump? It was a field day for dapper real estate moguls when Trump Hollywood (trumphollywood.com) recently made its debut. The latest luxury condo with 200 residences - priced from an estimated $1.3 to $7 million -is the collaboration between the Related Group and Donald Trump. On hand epitomizing the glam (big time) were Related Group's Jorge Perez and Donald Trump, Jr., both nattily-clad. On Ocean Drive just south of Hollywood Blvd., Trump Hollywood's glass tower is style galore. Elegant public spaces were designed by the charming duo of Glenn Pushelberg and George Yabu (yabupushelberg.com). The lobby's modern 18-foot polished stainless steel sculpture, created by Japanese artist Sawada Hirotoshi, is amazing. Platinum hues run throughout. Linen appears as the natural fabric of choice, especially in the public Sunrise Bistro, where breakfast is served alongside the ocean vista. The Wine Cellar's masterpiece is the matte surface found timber one-of-a-kind table. As for the residences, Tui Pranich (tuilifestyle.com) has adorned a model with furnishings and even more glam (as if that was possible). His "Innovative in 72 hours" interior design concept has your 3,000 square-foot abode turnkey ready before the ink has dried on your closing contract.
