I arrived in Whoville as excited as the little kids and their parents congregating there too. Grinchmas at Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando, is as colorful and sassy as any Dr. Seuss fan would hope. Bringing the pages of the beloved books to life, Whoville is all done up with holiday glitz. And yes, there are plenty of Who characters running about, greeting guests with good cheer. A rather gutsy Who, known as Tammy, was egging on passers-by to inform Mr. Grinch that he was desperately in need of a haircut! The hilarity that ensued between the Grinch and Tammy the Who was priceless.  

“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” comes to life during Grinchmas with a live indoor show performed on a vast soundstage. This Broadway-esque production includes an original musical score by Manheim Steamroller. The cast of Whos are adorable as is the Grinch, in his own special way, of course.

I’m still a kid at heart, and it seems mine just grew three times in size. Catch Grinchmas and more holiday happenings at Universal this season while you still can—Grinchmas runs through January 1.
