My Big Fat Greeks

With kids decked out in Mickey Mouse T-shirts, the Cora family seemed like just another family celebrating at Walt Disney World during the opening of the new Kouzzina restaurant at Disney's Boardwalk. The difference was that one of the members in this big, happy Greek family happens to be celebrity chef Cat Cora, the first female on Food Network's Iron Chef. "Since age 15, I've wanted to open a Greek family-style restaurant in Walt Disney World," said the pint-sized chef. While she greeted her first guests, her mama circulated the dining room, teaching everybody how to say "very good" in Greek (polee kalo). The staff at Kouzzina (Greek for kitchen) served 11 dishes  in a dining room covered with mismatched wooden chairs and tables - just like the tavernas found in Athens. Standout dishes include the cinnamon stewed chicken with herbed orzo that Cora's mother used to make for Cat and her brothers' birthdays, the lamb burgers seasoned to a spicy pitch and topped with tzatziki and the biggest surprise, a to-die-for side of sautéed Brussels sprouts with capers and lemon that even a veggie hater could love. disney.com
