Midsummer Feast at Raglan Road, Downtown Disney

Downtown Disney’s Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant plans a Midsummer Feast on June 20. Although there won’t be bonfires, a tradition in Ireland, to celebrate the summer solstice and harvest, chef Kevin Dundon promises much more than Irish beer. (However, the lineup of brews here is so amazing, you’ll be tempted to drink your dinner, starting with a Kilkenny on tap, a beautiful Irish cream ale.) The dinner begins with a picnic basket of pates (brandied chicken liver pate) and homemade jams (pictured right). Among the dishes is a roasted stuffed suckling pig with raisin-and-cider glaze, braised veggies and potato roasties. Dishes are paired with craft beers like Guinness Foreign Extra Stout and Bunratty Mead. You can wrap your meal with the Pimms Knickerbocker Glory, a dessert topped off with what else but Pimms, a gin-based, fruit-and-spice liquor. Enjoy it all to the stomping sounds of the Raglan Road Dancers, who entertain on stage with their high-powered step dancing. Book the $90 dinner at 407.938.0300.
