Royal Suite Unveiled at Orlando's Ritz-Carlton

Royal Suite Unveiled at Orlando's Ritz-Carlton

Royal Suite Ritz-Carlton

If I told you I recently toured the brand-new Royal Suite at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, you might respond “big deal.” Well that’s right, it is a big deal, all 4,293 square feet of the luxurious 12th-floor space overlooking the pools and golf course. It actually ranks as Central Florida’s largest luxury suite and the biggest in the entire collection of Ritz-Carlton hotels in the U.S.

Although Orlando’s Ritz-Carlton has the traditional marble and chandelier-inspired lobby design that’s been somewhat of a trademark look for the Ritz, the Royal Suite leans toward a fresh, contemporary style. Think architectural headboards, blond wood and color—aqua, yellow and magenta. Then there are the seven high-definition televisions, including a 60” TV in the soundproof media room with surround sound. Add four bedrooms and four and ½ baths, a dining room that seats 10 and a fully outfitted pantry. By now you must be wondering, who books these elaborate accommodations? With last year’s opening of Orlando’s Amway Center came big-name performers (and their entourages) the likes of Usher and Celine Dion followed by other stars with big tastes and big pocketbooks looking for exactly that: a Royal Suite.
