My recent stay at the Sarasota Ritz-Carlton included something I’m very fond of — a spa treatment. After attending two full days of fabulous performances at the Ringling International Arts Festival (as reported on in an earlier blog post) I decided to have some relaxing downtime at the Spa. It’s here that a beautiful mural is the focal point in a setting made for R&R. I immersed myself in the jetted healing waters and sauna in the wet room and then I literally lost track of the time with a catnap on a comfy lounger. Be sure to ask for Norma when booking a facial. She’s serious about skincare and introduced me to an anti-aging line by Dr. Dennis Gross. Refreshed and glowing, I checked out the gift shop for some retail therapy (of course!) and came across cuff bracelets and gorgeous dresses. I departed fully pampered. Now I call that the perfect weekend.
