How did the Boca Raton Resort & Club celebrate the finish of a $120-million-dollar renovation last fall? By inviting Hollywood to film parts of Parker, bringing the buzz of Jennifer Lopez, Jason Statham and Bradley Cooper.
The resort stole the scene with a lobby set four stories above the ocean, an aqua-iridescent-tile wishing pond, and a private half-mile stretch of Atlantic shoreline that makes up the Boca Beach Club (where the stars lounged during breaks from filming).
Guests on the sand indulge in rotating cabanas that enable views of the waves and expansive three-pool deck. At the white-roofed Beach Bar, frozen cocktails like the banana banshee are a hit.
While plenty of rooms have oversize balconies, the best ones have floor-to-ceiling center sliders that, when opened, act as a gateway for balmy ocean breezes, transforming your room into one giant balcony. Rooms from $249.
