Since we’ve been “Streamin’ Through the Sunshine State” for the last nine days — this was the perfect stop: Frank Bates RVee in Dover.
The Airstream Ranch was just a teaser. This is actually a much-heralded destination (and a must) for anyone with an inkling for hitting the road RV-style. The classic Vintage Airstream Village is a throwback all right, but the RV-loving community is busy reviving these retro beauties and making them a lifestyle choice for today. Cool!
It's staged just right — with plenty of bright pink flamingo yard ornaments and signs directing you to the beach — and there’s even a hip vintage car that’s prepped for that special road trip.
