For 10 years, Peterbrooke Chocolatier of Winter Park has been fashioning top-quality treats and devising outside-the-box chocolate creations that delight the sweet tooth (the chocolate-covered popcorn is a personal favorite).

The confectioners recently celebrated their first decade on illustrious Park Avenue with a Willy Wonka-style party with flowing chocolate fountains, samples of some upcoming creations (dark chocolate infused with a blend of chilies was surprisingly delicious) and a gargantuan, 10-pound chocolate bar that was raffled off. Coming from a family where we always had “a bite of sweet” after meals, I was in heaven.

If that sounds good to you, there’s still a chance to get in on the sweetness. The chocolate shop offers chocolate parties for any occasion, where groups learn to dip cookies, graham crackers and more in Peterbrooke’s smooth chocolate blend — even bottles of wine that can then be uncorked and enjoyed on-site (bring your own wine).

November will also see the launch of their chocolate of the month club, which includes monthly delivery of favorite dipped, artisanal and signature chocolates.
