    I’ve made lots of 2012 New Year’s resolutions that involve travel (the only ones I'd ever be able to keep). At the top of the list is a return visit to Key West for all of its unique qualities, and of course, the Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square.

    The Pier House Resort & Caribbean Spa in Key West is as lovely as I recall (having stayed there quite a few years ago). The lush setting with its private beach and breathtaking Gulf of Mexico view is as good as it gets. Let’s just call it what it is: the ultimate chill pill.
