Entering its 56th year, The Florida Seafood Festival is a tradition worth celebrating with great seafood and beautiful autumn weather. The historic town of Apalachicola serves up tons of great fish, including the jewel of Apalachicola—oysters! This two-day event isn’t just for seafood lovers. There’ll be plenty of arts and crafts exhibits, live entertainment, and notable competitions like the Oyster Eating and Shucking contest. This family-friendly weekend of fun isn’t complete without watching the parade on Saturday morning and witnessing the crowning of Miss Florida Seafood.
