Event Details:
This posh, 8-day wine and food festival is comprised of a series of ticketed wine dinners, tastings, and seminars. Since 1956, Bern’s Steakhouse has been an iconic landmark restaurant and today, it continues to play an important role in our food scene. This event is no exception as it brings together the most talented culinary teams to produce exceptional menus complemented by the best wines from around the world.
The organizer says: “Bern’s Winefest is Central Florida’s premier food and wine tasting experience. It was created to allow our guests a decadent week of events with the area’s most talented culinary teams complemented by the best wines from around the world. Winefest is a philanthropic event supported through the Laxer Family Foundation and our family of brands. The Laxer Family Foundation uses the proceeds raised from Winefest to send funds to the James Beard Foundation for the Laxer Memorial Scholarship Fund. Created in the spirit of Bern Laxer, these scholarships aim to assist students who are interested in a career in culinary, hospitality management, or viticulture. We have proudly gifted 26 scholarships since our events began; thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, and attendees of Winefest.”
