In my parents’ day, the evening card game of choice was Euchre, a game that’s as difficult to spell as it was for me to learn. Thankfully, today’s adults have far more interesting card games to break out at night. We love the cards here, like “Most likely to wake up with half a burrito in bed.” (Not me – I’ve never met a burrito I didn’t love.) Most likely to buy this game? That actually would be me. Most likely to need an Uber or Lyft after a couple hours? Also me. I’m a lightweight.
Cards Against Humanity
Ask a question with a black card as your soon-to-be-former friends answer with their white cards. Could this phenomenon really be that simple? Ah yes, but the fun is magnified depending on how warped your sense of humor is (and how many cocktails you had before starting the game).
What Do You Meme?
It’s a very adult game for the social generation. (Yeah, no sense explaining what a meme is to your grandparents.) It’s a quick game to learn and funner to play as the night and beverages continue.
These Cards Will Get You Drunk
Could this game‘s title be any more ambiguous? We jest, of course. Like with all really great ice-breaker games, the rules are easy to follow and gameplay is quick, so maybe sure your fridge is full of beverages before you start. (And be sure you have a ride service queued up on your smart phone!)
