“This is Universal,” a brand-new digital travel series from Universal Destinations & Experiences’ Discover Universal trip-planning hub, offers viewers an entertaining look at what Universal Orlando Resort has to offer from the perspective of first-time visitors in a six-part unscripted series.
It was created to highlight the must-dos, must-eats, must-knows, and how-tos of Universal’s theme park destinations. “This is Universal” is the most recent series to premiere as part of Discover Universal’s revolutionary storytelling platform.
“This is Universal” centers on first-timers Paige and Jimmy, a Kansas-based couple with two girls looking for the ideal family holiday after three years without one. They make the decision to see what Universal Orlando Resort has to offer, and they engage Jake, a die-hard Universal fan and theme park enthusiast, to take them on a quick tour.
Visitors will observe Paige and Jimmy’s genuine and unscripted reactions as they explore all that Universal Orlando has to offer, from the intense rush of racing up to 70 mph alongside Velociraptors on Jurassic World VelociCoaster to the relaxing bliss of Universal Volcano Bay, all while Jake tags along and offers the ideal balance of helpful advice and laughs.
All six episodes are available for streaming on the Discover Universal portal. While there, visitors can also check out the other engrossing content to learn more about Universal Orlando, such as the video series Ride Guys, which offers a tour of the top rides while entertaining visitors and sharing the crucial information they need to know; Checked-In, which offers a tour of all eight magnificently themed hotels, including lobbies, rooms, pools, and amenities; and Dine and Ride, which takes viewers on a culinary quest of elevated theme park fare. Visitors can also read planning tips, listen to the Discover Universal podcast, and do so much more.
“This is Universal” will showcase Universal Studios Hollywood and other Universal parks in upcoming seasons. Click here for additional details on the “This is Universal” travel series from Discover Universal.
