Topgolf is set to open its latest venue in St. Petersburg on June 30. This will be Florida’s eighth Topgolf venue, second only to Texas where the company is based.
Located at 220 Carillon Parkway North, Topgolf St. Petersburg is located in the Carillon office park making it easily accessible to fans in Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg.
Topgolf St. Petersburg will have 102 outdoor climate-controlled hitting bays spanning three levels. Each bay has lounge-type furniture or high-top tables where groups can cheer – or heckle – the other players. The venue is equipped with Topgolf’s Toptracer technology, which traces each golf ball’s flight path, distance and other metrics.
Topgolf likes to pitch itself as “100 percent not golf,” which might seem odd until you realize the Venus also has a full-service restaurant, rooftop fire pits, more than 200 high-def TVs, music and more. Private rooms are also available for team outings and family gatherings. (Lessons are available for those who want to work on their game.)
“We’re working every day to make the game of golf more accessible, more diverse and more fun, and we invite our neighbors in the Pinellas County community to show us your best – or worst – swing,” says Topgolf Chief Operating Officer Gen Gray. “Either way, as long as you’re having a blast.”
