When you think of the San Francisco 49ers, it’s the names and faces that come to mind first. Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Steve Young, Bill Walsh. They all contributed to a dynasty for the Niners in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Together they won Super Bowls and created one-of-a-kind moments that live on in football lore. (Just google “The Catch.”)
Today, a new group of fresh faces is waiting to take their place in 49ers history. While we wait for the next Super Bowl run, here are four things every San Francisco 49ers fan should own.
Folding Tailgating Chair
Portable tailgating chairs are pretty common outside NFL stadiums these days, but we love this one for the built-in cooler that comes with it. Ice up to six cans of your favorite beverage while you dine on barbecue before the next Niners game.
49ers Throw Blanket
It’s the perfect accessory for night games at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara (about 45 miles from San Francisco) – or for your sofa at home while you watch the Niners play on TV.
San Francisco Cap
It may seem like the simple but classy “SF” logo has been with the team forever, but it was actually adopted in 1962. The team’s original logo was a mustached gold miner firing off the pistols in each hand. (Try to imagine a rowdier version of Yosemite Sam!)
49ers Coffee Mugs
How do West Coast fans manage to drag themselves out of bed each Sunday morning for those early start times of road games? With the promise of a good cup of coffee, of course. Serve up the java in these ceramic 49ers mugs for good luck.
