Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach property recently went on the market for $29 million, making it almost as distinctive as the legendary musician.
The 10,632-square-foot house, which sits on Allison Island, has 110 feet of waterfront and stunning views of Miami’s palm-fringed coastline. The mansion is sleekly modern with 22-foot ceilings, mahogany paneling, and lots of glass. The house was built to make the most of the lovely surroundings and climate that come with being on the oceanfront.
Lil Wayne began writing songs when he was eight years old, and today is widely recognized as one of the greatest rappers of all time and one of the most influential hip-hop musicians of his generation. He has been honored with eight NAACP Image Awards, 11 BET Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, five Grammy Awards, and two MTV Video Music Awards. He is among the most financially successful musicians in America, with 120 million records sold worldwide. Young Money Entertainment, which Lil Wayne founded in 2005, has published 14 albums that have peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine, and Lil Twist are represented by the company in addition to Wayne’s own current output.
The large principal suite, which comes with twin baths, a walk-in closet, a sitting space, and a private terrace, is the largest of the home’s seven bedrooms. A second junior suite has a terrace as well. Custom Italian cabinets and Subzero & Wolf appliances enhance the main kitchen, while a second chef’s kitchen provides separate staff quarters. The great room has floor-to-ceiling windows and leads onto the opulent backyard, while the spacious living room has sliding glass doors that open onto a large deck. The 23,760-square-foot property has a large pool, numerous outdoor dining areas, a built-in BBQ grill, and a beach cabana with easy access to the island’s private beach’s powdery white sands. There are also a three-car garage, an elevator, a wine room, a private dock, and a movie theater.
Allison Island is a gated community with 24-hour guard service and additional security provided by being surrounded by water on all sides. It is a superb choice for VIPs and celebrities. The La Gorce Country Club and the Normandy Shores Golf Club, both of which are situated on nearby islands, are both adjacent to the residence, which is situated northwest of Miami Beach. Only a few miles away are Miami Beach’s crowded public beaches, first-rate nightlife, renowned art galleries, upscale shops, and top-notch restaurants. Numerous A-list celebrities live in the region, including Pitbull, Sylvester Stallone, Madonna, and Shakira.
Already, the house has sold for $22.583 million. Lil Wayne and the buyer were both represented in the transaction by Cyril Matz of Douglas Elliman.
