ViceVersa Residency Brings Miami’s Aperitivo Culture to Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale
Miami’s James Beard-nominated bar transforms the hotel lobby with exclusive cocktails, Italian sophistication, and nightly entertainment through May 2026.
Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale has announced a new partnership with ViceVersa, Miami’s acclaimed Italian aperitivo bar, to launch a distinctive residency in the hotel's lobby. Running from now through May 2026, "ViceVersa, A Fort Lauderdale Residency" aims to blend the sophistication of Milanese aperitivo culture with the vibrant style of South Florida.
A Homecoming for Mixology Talent
The collaboration marks a significant return for Valentino Longo, the co-owner of ViceVersa and an acclaimed bartender whose career is deeply rooted in the Four Seasons brand. Longo’s Miami establishment is currently ranked No. 56 on North America’s 50 Best Bars 2025 and has earned a James Beard nomination.
"Bringing ViceVersa to Fort Lauderdale allows us to expand on our original intention and share the joyful act of aperitivo with even more guests," said Longo. He noted that the residency focuses on combining his Italian heritage with local South Florida ingredients to create a unique experience.
Mali Carow, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale, emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership for the property and the city.
“Fort Lauderdale continues to emerge as a destination for world-class food and beverage experiences, and this residency adds a dynamic new layer to that story,” said Carow. “ViceVersa brings an elevated yet playful spirit that aligns perfectly with the lifestyle of our hotel and we're thrilled to offer this new lobby experience to our community and visitors and welcome Valentino back to Four Seasons with open arms.”
Lobby Transformation and Atmosphere

The residency is designed to transform the hotel's lobby into the property's "social heart." Beginning daily at 5:00 pm, the space shifts from a sunlit environment to a sensory-rich lounge featuring intimate seating and a mix of eclectic Italian and American music. To further elevate the atmosphere, a DJ will provide energetic entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.
While Longo will make appearances on select dates to connect with guests, the daily operations will be led by Head Bartender Rosy Vilanova.
The "Vacanza" Menu
The cocktail menu, titled "Vacanza," is inspired by the Italian concept of vacation, with drinks designed to evoke different aspects of leisure. The lineup includes ViceVersa signatures such as the Martini Doppio, a twist on the Gibson with pickled onions, and the Rita, a tropical blend featuring tequila, mango, and a float of Barolo wine.

Exclusively for this Fort Lauderdale residency, the team has developed three unique cocktails:
- Beeswax Old Fashioned: A rich combination of Russell’s bourbon and Cynar with walnut bitters.
- White Wine Spritz: A refreshing mix of Italicus, peach, white wine, and elderberry.
- Coast to Coast: A tropical spritz featuring Aperol, toasted coconut, and prosecco.
Complementing Culinary Excellence
The new bar experience is intended to serve as either a prelude or a finale to the hotel’s existing culinary offerings. It complements the property’s Michelin-awarded dining venues, including Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale and MAASS, positioning the hotel as a comprehensive destination for coastal sophistication and culinary artistry.
