Event Details:
This non-profit community festival started in 1974 by The Friends of McIntosh, Inc and benefits the town’s cultural growth and historical awareness. From the festival’s initial debut in the 1970s with an attendance of 4,000 people, today it hosts over 280 arts, crafts and antiques vendors and an estimated 35,000 visitors annually. Old live oaks and Victorian homes provide shade and the backdrop for the all day free main stage entertainment. This year’s entertainment will feature an array of music from country to Cajun, bluegrass to folk and gospel. The celebration continues its fundraising efforts to include the creation of a scholarship fund to assist local students with higher education. Eat, sip and shop to help celebrate small town authenticity for a good cause.
Parking is available in several privately run lots off of the highway with prices ranging from $5 to $10. Some of the churches on 441 allow parking for donations. Handicap parking is at avenue H and 4th street.
