Orlando has more than 1,100 Airbnb listings – many of which are close to Central Florida’s theme parks – so if you’re planning a family vacation here, you need only decide on a budget and the perks you want.

Most rental homes and condos feature access to a pool and other Florida-friendly amenities. Some offer shuttles to theme parks while others are within a few minute’s drive. If you’re looking for family-friendly Airbnbs near Disney World, these five properties really stand out.

Out of This World

It’d be quicker to list what this 5-bedroom doesn’t offer. This home in Celebration can accommodate up top 12 guests and features a sci-fi-themed bedroom, superhero game room, a home theater, a slew of gaming machines and tables and a beautiful pool with a spillover spa. It’s a 10-minute to Disney World.

Nothing Small About It

The Harry Potter-themed game room is the star in this 8-bedroom house. It can sleep up to 21 visitors and is less than 5 minutes away from Disney – so close you can see the park’s nightly fireworks. The property includes a recently renovated pool and spa. The 300-acre subdivision has walking trails, a fitness center, playground, mini golf and more. Three bedrooms are themed with decor celebrating “Toy Story,” “Frozen,” and “It’s a Small World.”

Fit For a Princess

This “Frozen”-themed house is 15 minutes away from Disney and 20 minutes away from Universal Orlando. (Shuttles are available to parks.) It offers high-speed Internet and a TV in ever room. The pool can be heated – for an additional charge – or just wander over to the water park that’s located on the resort’s property. The home has 6 bedrooms – one themed for “Star Wars” – and can accommodate 16-plus guests.

A Smaller Pad

If you don’t need the mini-mansions we’ve profiled so far, maybe this 1-bedroom condo is more your speed. It has two beds and room for four and sits just 1 1/2 miles from Disney. It even has sound-proofed windows to keep things quiet inside. The resort offers a heated main pool, kids pool, hot tub, barbecuing area and basketball court.

Rooms with a View

Here’s another smaller unit – two bedrooms, four beds and room for eight guests. It’s located in the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort, which is adjacent to Disney World. Family actives at Bonnet Creek include face painting, bingo, ice cream socials and more. There’s also mini golf, karaoke and film screenings outdoors. If that’s not enough, just relax on the resort’s lazy river, waterslides and hot tubs.
