Word of South is a festival of literature and music that strives for an exploration between writers and musicians. The festival features authors who write about music and musicians who also are authors … and just about everything in between. Participants for 2023 include Pulitzer Prize author-historian Jon Meacham, Grammy Award-winning blues legend Bobby Rush, and storytelling musician Minton Sparks.
