Global pop stars Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin and Pitbull have announced a joint tour of North America this fall, where the three Latin singers will each perform a set. The Trilogy Tour includes two stops in Florida – Orlando and Miami – in November.
“It’s a true honor to tour with Enrique and Ricky, two music icons who broke global music barriers for our culture and open doors for someone like myself,” Pitbull said in a statement.
Ricky Martin added: “Going back on the road with not only Enrique, but now with Pitbull, it’s very exciting. This tour will be a wild party from beginning to end so get ready, it’s going to be epic!”
Pitbull is a native Floridian, having been born in Miami to Cuban immigrant parents. His breakthrough single in 2009 was “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho).” Martin is a native Puerto Rican who began his career with the boy band Menudo before scoring huge hits as a solo artist with “Livin’ la Vida Loca,” “Vuelve” and “La Copa de la Vida.” Iglesias is a native Spaniard and son of singer Julio Iglesias. He’s one of the best-selling Latin musicians with estimated sales of more than 70 million records. He and Martin have toured together previously.
