Avatar fans: Are you ready to experience Flight of Passage at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom? The latest attraction at the Orlando theme park is a worthy tribute to the first James Cameron sci-fi flick that is set on the planet of Pandora.

The movie, set in the mid-22nd century, tells the tale of humans clashing with the planet’s humanoid species known as the Na’vi. Scientists have engineered a half human/half Na’vi body known as an “avatar” to help communicate with the species.

On Flight of Passage, guests take a 3D ride atop a “banshee,” a flying creature that also inhabits Pandora.

The video was produced by Inside the Magic.
