With the weather in Florida approaching ideal levels, it’s high time for Central Florida’s theme parks to throw their annual spring festivals. Up next is ICON Park and its Sip n’ Savor event on April 30.
Locals and tourists can enjoy live entertainment, sip beer and wine samples (and even moonshine) while chomping down on dishes from local restaurants.
Passes purchased in advance are $39 for adults and $9.99 for children ages 3 to 12. Guests must be 21 and over to consume alcohol. A portion of proceeds from the event will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida.
ICON Park, on Orlando’s International Drive, is a 20-acre entertainment complex featuring more than 50 attractions including a 400-foot observation wheel, a Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, the Sea Life aquarium, as well as bars, restaurants, shops and smaller kiosks.
For Sip n’ Savor, parking at ICON Park is free and discounts will be offered at the attractions. Restaurants offering bites at the party include:
- Brother Jimmy’s
- Tapa Toro
- Uncle Julio’s Orlando
- Tin Roof
- Blake Shelton’s Ole Red
- Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips
- Sloppy Joe’s Orlando
- Sugar Factory
- Buffalo Wild Wings
- Shake Shack
- The Wheelhouse Market Food Hall
