With its new “Ultimate Shark Experience” ticket, which goes on sale today just in time for shark week, SeaWorld is giving shark fans an opportunity to get up close and personal with the park’s toothy predators.

This new ticket is only sold at SeaWorld and is only available for one week. It gives guests a full day of unique and immersive experiences to see, feed, touch, and learn about sharks, move like a shark on shark-inspired thrill rides, take home shark swag, and honor the ocean’s Very Important Predators (VIPs) by donating $25 from each ticket to shark conservation.

The brand-new ticket is only good July 21–28, when our parks will be celebrating sharks for a week. With the ticket and the party, people of all ages who are interested in sharks will be able to see and learn about the 21 species and almost 300 sharks who live at SeaWorld in Orlando, San Diego, and San Antonio.

“SeaWorld is the only place in the world where you can touch a shark, move like a shark, feed a shark, dine like a shark, learn from the sharks and importantly, help our ocean’s sharks at the same time,” said Marisa Thalberg, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment. “Sharks are actually our ocean’s VIP – Very Important Predators – for a reason – and we would love to share this curated, immersive experience with guests young and old who want to celebrate shar week in this really unique way.”

The Ultimate Shark Experience ticket lets you do special things that you can only do at SeaWorld. Each park may have slightly different deals. Among them are:

See Sharks (up close): You can’t see sharks without going on a guided tour above the tank.

Feed and Touch Sharks: Of course, it’s done in a safe way with the help of our shark experts.

Learn about Sharks: in a private group, our teachers will tell you things you didn’t know about how important sharks are to ALL life on Earth.

Speed Like a Shark: Get to the front of the line for award-winning shark and ray-inspired thrill rides like San Antonio’s “Great White,” San Diego’s “Manta,” or Orlando’s “Mako,” which was named the best roller coaster in the United States in the 2023 USA Today annual 10Best Readers’ Choice.

Dine near Sharks: with tasty snacks and drinks that are shark-themed. Don’t miss Sharks Underwater Grill® and Bar in Orlando. It’s known as one of the city’s best places, and while you’re eating there, you can watch sharks swim by in a way that’s always interesting and different.

Take Home Shark Swag: We’ll give you a great shark-themed present, like a plush shark, a hat, a blanket, a t-shirt, or something else. Each park has different things.

Help Us HELP Sharks: At the center of the day, you’ll learn how we give our sharks round-the-clock, world-class care to protect and preserve them for years to come. In fact, we are giving a part of every Ultimate Shark Experience ticket to shark conservation to help sharks for future generations.

People kill about 100 million sharks in the wild every year, mostly for their fins. Through its park adventures, SeaWorld wants to teach and inspire the next generation to care about sharks.  It also works to protect sharks outside of its parks through partnerships and the SeaWorld Conservation Fund, which has given more than $300,000 to study and conservation projects for sharks. SeaWorld also takes part in the Association of Zoos and Aquariums SAFE Program (Saving Species from Extinction), which protects threatened and endangered species in human care at approved zoos around the world, including SeaWorld.
