To mark the first anniversary of its “Heroes Sail Free” program, Margaritaville at Sea is offering a limited-time offer in which heroes can sail for free and guest fares start at $49.

The Heroes Sail Free program was made for U.S. military service members (active duty and veterans), police, fire, EMS, government healthcare workers, and teachers. It lets them take one free trip to the Bahamas with a paying guest.

In the first year of the program, more than 45,000 heroes and their friends sailed on Margaritaville at Sea Paradise from the Port of Palm Beach.

Heroes can go online and click the “Claim Your Cruise” button to take advantage of the limited-time anniversary guest price. The special prices can be booked from July 11 to August 14, 2023, for trips between August 15 and November 15, 2023, as long as there are still seats available.

“This unprecedented program allows us to show our support to those who support our communities every day and we’re proud to have welcomed over 45,000 of these heroes and their friends and families to enjoy our amazing slice of paradise,” said Christopher Ivy, President of Margaritaville at Sea. “Our anniversary offer is just another way to say thank you and great timing for our heroes to enjoy a three-day Bahamas escape while experiencing all the new and exciting additions made during our recent dry dock.”

This spring, a multimillion-dollar renovation of the dry dock was done, which added a number of new features and facilities. Paradise Pickleball at Sea, a dueling piano bar, two new live shows, the Cheeseburger in Paradise Burger Bar, and more are among the new dining and entertainment options. The exercise center, arcade, and kids’ clubs also got a lot of work, and the cabins and menus at Fins Dining were updated.

The company works with GovX, the biggest military and government e-commerce site, to run the Heroes Sail Free program. This site is only for military and first responders.
