Florida Beach Ranked Tops In Natural Wonders

Henderson Beach State Park in Florida has been crowned the beach in the United States with the most natural wonders, according to a new index by Rightboat. The beach is located in Destin.

Rightboat is a huge online marketplace for bats, with more than 50,000 listings around the world. Rightboat studied more than 300,000 Tripadvisor reviews to rank the beaches based on marine life, cleanliness, clear waters and overall beauty.

Henderson Beach State Park, which offers white sand dunes, fishing, a nature trail and 60 campsites, received an overall grade of 98%. Henderson scored particularly high based on the numbers of “clean” and “beautiful” mentions in reviews, Rightboat reports.

Other Florida beaches in the Top 15 ranking were: Pensacola Beach, Sombrero Beach, St. Pete Beach and Panama City Beach.

Some other findings in the Rightboat index:

  • Cape May in New Jersey was named the cleanest beach and the best beach for spotting dolphins.
  • Lanikai Beach (aka Kaʻōhao Beach) in Hawaii was named the most beautiful beach.
  • Three other Hawaii beaches – Ho’okipa Beach Park, Poipu Beach Park, Napili Beach – were named the beaches where visitors are most likely to see marine life.
