The Pensacola Beach Resort, an independently branded, upscale hotel on Florida’s Emerald Coast, has opened for guests, according to Corsair Hospitality Group. The rebranded resort features 161 waterfront guest rooms, including 24 executive king rooms with wrap-around balconies, coastal-inspired public spaces, an elevated pool deck, a new restaurant concept, retail offerings, a beach bar, and more.

A carefully curated art collection with impressionist maritime images and a nod to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and local boating culture completes the transformation and ushers in a new era of hospitality.

“The Pensacola Beach Resort aims to set a new standard for travelers visiting our beaches,” said Leigh Taylor, co-founder and principal of Corsair Hospitality Group, Inc., which manages the hotel and other properties in the region. “We are deeply rooted here in Pensacola as our company has been developing and managing hotels along this coast for over 40 years. It’s a unique destination, and we are thrilled to show our guests all that our home has to offer.”

The resort, situated on more than 800 feet of gulf frontage, offers 360-degree water views of the Gulf of Mexico, Little Sabine Bay, and the Intracoastal Waterway. The hotel’s coastal style, which draws inspiration from the area’s well-known sugar-white sand beaches and turquoise waters, features a variety of blue hues with hints of rum-colored wood and gold. The hotel’s spacious lobby, which offers a communal, versatile setting where everyone can find their own position to take in the panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico, is decorated with furniture that is inspired by the West Indies.

The Pensacola Beach Resort has an elevated pool deck with views of the Gulf that is available only to hotel guests, who may unwind while basking in the Florida sun. The pool deck also features a poolside tiki bar.

The resort’s newly redesigned restaurant, Windrose, which draws its name from Pensacola’s ancient maritime culture, is also only accessible to hotel guests and offers sophisticated, informal dining for breakfast, lunch, and supper. The menu combines hotel favorites with seaside cuisine that draws taste inspiration from the region’s Southern traditions.

The Salty Rose, a lively beach bar and restaurant with a name inspired by a sailors’ hangout, is also located within the resort. Visitors and locals can stop by to enjoy island music, beach activities, and a menu of healthy salads, sandwiches made with local fish, and loaded nachos.
