Low-Cost Airline Adds Florida Service

Avelo Airlines Adding Melbourne/Cocoa Beach to destinations while boosting service at other Florida airports.

Avelo Airlines is set to begin new service at Melbourne Orlando International Airport as well as add more flights to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Other cities with new Avelo service include Memphis, Tenn., and Rochester, N.Y.

The new service to Melbourne/Cocoa Beach, Florida begins on June 23 with twice-weekly flights. The additional flight frequencies for Orlando and Fort Lauderdale will begin Sept. 11.

Avelo serves 44 destinations spanning 24 states. Since taking flight on April 28, 2021, the low-cost carrier has flown almost 2.5 million Customers on nearly 20,000 flights.
