Tampa International Airport has a new airline partner with Canadian carrier Lynx Air and has announced two nonstop routes to Toronto and Montreal starting this fall.
The ultra-low-cost airline will begin serving Toronto Pearson International Airport on Nov. 16, and Montreal-Pierre Trudeau International Airport on Nov. 17. Both routes will fly four times per week (on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays).
Lynx Air is now the 21st scheduled passenger carrier currently flying to Tampa and the third to offer nonstop service to Canada.

These are the first routes to Tampa for the Calgary-based airline, which launched in April 2022. Lynx Air now serves 16 destinations with seven new Boeing 737 aircraft. The airline plans to grow its fleet to 10 aircraft by the end of 2023 and has orders in place for an additional 36 planes.
