Event Details:
Okay, so the name is probably throwing you. But this is the city of Inverness’ largest annual event and it celebrates the water turtle. Yes, water turtle. Events include festival rides, live music, a BBQ contest, cooter races (of course) and a “Cooterween” party. Plus, what’s a festival without fireworks? Just cover your cooter’s ears – they frighten easily.
