This event, highly anticipated by locals each year, began in 1967. Don’t the let name fool you, while the snake show is the main attraction, there’s so much more to see and do. Kids will watch in awe as former rodeo champ, Cowboy Tom, wields his rope and captivates his audience with comedic skits and cowboy magic. Shop the arts & crafts tables for a souvenir before taking your pick of delicious festival fare from one of the many food trucks on hand. And get ready to be entertained by live musicians and dancers. This is truly a unique Florida festival not to be missed.
Insider Tip:
Take part in the Rattlesnake Run on Saturday morning before the festivities start. Known as one of the most interesting races in Florida, you’ll run through beautiful Pasco County, over a bridge, through hills, and groves. The 1-mile race starts at 9:15 AM and the 5-mile race starts at 8:00 AM.
