The annual Sun ’n Fun International Fly-In Expo is a one-stop source for everything aviation-related. Check out airplanes of all types on display and in the air, or browse the rows of tents and hangars full of flight gear and electronics. There is even a dedicated display for classic military airplanes — or warbirds — from World War II. Pilots might also be interested in the many educational workshops and forums throughout the week.
The Big Attraction:
There’s certainly plenty to see on the sprawling grounds of Lakeland Linder Airport — and a constant stream of airplanes in the sky — during the day, but make sure you don’t leave before dark. The nightly aerobatics routines and fireworks are sure to provide dazzling entertainment and stunning photo ops.

If you don’t want to miss a day of the aviation action, you can get a permit to camp right on the Sun ’n Fun grounds. Flying in? Visitors who plan to arrive in their own aircraft can land right at Lakeland Linder Airport and taxi to their camping spot.
