The sleepy town of Dunedin has been home to the Blue Jays since 1977. TD Ballpark is the latest name of the stadium the Blue Jays call their spring home. In 2019, it was renovated and expanded to 8,500 seats. Two of the highest ranked beaches in the country are minutes away: Caladesi Island State Park and Honeymoon Island State Park. Craft-beer fans find that Dunedin Brewery, the state’s oldest craft brewery, is a must-visit anytime they’re in the area.

- Back in the days when the Canadian prog-rock band Rush use to tour more often, they tried to organize stops in Florida during spring training so they could catch a few games with their beloved Blue Jays.
- When Harry Connick Jr. was in nearby Clearwater to film the movie Dolphin Tale, he fell in love with a Mexican food favorite in Dunedin, Casa Tina. He could be found there most nights during his stay in Tampa Bay.
