Event Details:
The historic Tampa Theatre has announced that the ’80s will be the big star in the first classic movie series in the venue’s newly restored auditorium. Each Friday and Sunday beginning January 12, the Tampa Theatre will screen a classic ’80s flick for their Totally ’80s Classic Movie Series. Here’s the full lineup:
- Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12
- Fast Times at Ridgemont High – 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14
- Desperately Seeking Susan – 10:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19
- Flashdance – 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21
- This Is Spinal Tap – 10:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26
- Steel Magnolias – 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28
- First Blood – 10:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2
- Good Morning, Vietnam – 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4
- Dune – 10:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9
- Stand By Me – 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11
- Coming To America – 10:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16
- Sixteen Candles – 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18
