Are there cities you generally try to avoid visiting for weekend getaways because they’re too noisy or stressful? The website Finance Buzz thinks so, and that’s why they compiled a list of the Top 10 Worst U.S. Cities for a Weekend Getaway.

The exact methodology of the list isn’t clear, but we get the point. Some cities just ooze a level of discomfort. But what you really want to know is: Did any Florida cities make the list? Yes, one did.

According to Finance Buzz, Miami is ranked No. 9 on the list of cities you don’t want to visit for a weekend getaway.

“There’s lots of traffic, plenty of rude tourists from around the world, and very high prices on just about anything,” the report says. “The city also isn’t very family-friendly and, though it was once the destination for young people, it’s become much less accessible.”

Finance Buzz credits Miami for having a great beach and says it’s a good Spring Break destination – we beg to disagree on that point – but it still deserves to be on its list of worst cities.

Lake Tahoe, California, tops the list of worst cities for a getaway.

“This naturally beautiful area is struggling under the weight of tourism so badly that the roads have become dust, traffic jams are common, and the lake itself has lost its clarity and beauty,” the report reads. “Once a pristine natural destination, the beaches are now packed and the trails are worn, creating a less enjoyable experience and more damage to the environment.”

Here’s the full list for comparison.
