Allegiant Air is prepping for a record-breaking summer season, beginning the next two weeks with travelers crossing the country for the July Fourth celebration.

Allegiant runs its network of more than 600 routes from its headquarters in Nevada and has just released its list of the Top 5 Summer Destinations for 2023.

Four of the five are Florida destinations.

Allegiant’s Top Five Summer 2023 Destinations:

  1. Las Vegas, NV
  2. Orlando-Sanford, FL
  3. St. Pete-Clearwater-Tampa, FL
  4. Punta Gorda, FL
  5. Destin-Fort Walton Beach, FL

Allegiant flies to small- and medium-sized cities and usually utilizes smaller airports. That’s why you won’t see Miami International or New York’s JFK International on a list from Allegiant.

“As people take vacations in droves, our teams at Allegiant have been preparing almost a year in advance, since the tail end of last year’s summer season, ensuring we have the right resources in place for this operationally intense time of the year,” said Blake Kline, Allegiant’s director of the operations control center.
